About UsBintel is registered in Jebel Ali, Dubai in 2007, based in Bahrain, and operating in the telecommunications sector with a current focus on the African market.
Bintel currently operates two mobile services - in Central African Republic and in Somaliland - and is set to commence operations in Gabon in mid-2009 with a recently acquired mobile network license.
Bintel’s Somaliland operation is being reshaped both internally and externally through human resources reorganization and training, network rehabilitation and expansion, as well as through re-branding and services portfolio review. Bintel has been able to steadily build its subscriber base in Somaliland since entering the local market in mid-2008.
Bintel operates under the brand name of Nationlink in English and French-speaking African countries. Bintel has been making significant investments in technology and building its partner network to ensure that customers are provided world-class mobile services. In early 2008, Bintel acquired a majority stake in Telesonique, a Swiss-based wholesale traffic and alternative retail provider company, as part of its strategy to build a reliable network of telecommunications services strategic partners. |
